Welcome to the Boise Bench Lions Club!
Chartered on May 28, 1951, the Boise Bench Lions Club has proudly served the Boise, Idaho community for over seven decades. We are dedicated to making a positive impact through a wide range of local projects and community service initiatives.
Our Community Involvement
We’re passionate about giving back and helping those in need. Some of our key initiatives include:
- Envision: We support the premier Lions non-profit organization with various programs that benefit Idahoans, such as the Idaho Lions Eye Bank, Vision Clinic recycling eyeglasses, funding vision care, hearing aid assistance and conducting vision and hearing screenings in local schools. - Volunteering: Our members regularly volunteer at local organizations like the Ronald McDonald House, the Idaho Food Bank, and Zoo Boise. We also help build and deliver beds for Sleep in Heavenly Peace, and are involved with many other service projects.
In addition to our hands-on work, the Boise Bench Lions Club contributes to a variety of community organizations, including:
- Interfaith Sanctuary
- Friendship Food Bank
- Purses with a Purpose
- Chrysalis House
- Camp Rainbow Gold
- City of Lights
… and many more.
Social Events & Fellowship
We believe in building strong bonds within our club! In addition to our service projects, we host several social events throughout the year, including:
- Annual Picnic
- Charter Party
- Christmas Party
- Monthly Socials
These events are a great way to connect with fellow Lions members and their guests.
Leadership & Legacy
As one of the largest Lions Clubs in Idaho, the Boise Bench Lions Club has been a consistent source of leadership within the Lions organization. Our members have held prominent roles, including:
