Mike from the nonprofit Trees Idaho, formerly the Treasure Valley Canopy Network, spoke about urban forestry. Trees Idaho works with communities, organizations and residents to plan for, plant and care for trees that clean our air and water. One of their many programs is the Elaine Clegg City of Trees Challenge which started on Arbor Day in 2020. Since that day, there have been 20,468 urban trees planted and 235,000 seedlings planted.
