Yasmin Aguilar works for the Agency for New Americans. She arrived in Boise as a refugee in 2000. She was born in Afghanistan peacefully, started school at 5 and finished at 15. She was offered a scholarship in the Czech Republic and started medical school. She became a doctor and returned to Afghanistan.

Our August 20 Speaker was Braden Harvey, a Polysomnographic Technician, or commonly known as a Sleep Therapist, from MedCap CPAP.  He has worked with sleep apnea patients for 17 yrs. There are 2 types of sleep apnea, obstructive sleep apnea and complex sleep apnea. Braden explained the difference as well as therapies.
