Lion Jay Lugo is the ED of Envision. He started 32 yrs. ago when it was the ID Eastern OR Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation. He spoke fondly of the BB Lions as they started the foundation which is now Envision. In 1969, a BB Lion stored eyes/tissue in a fridge in his garage until it could be transported to St. Al’s where they originally had office space. Eye couriers have played a big part in transporting the eyes/tissue from Eastern ID to Boise. Sarah needed a corneal transplant; one donor gift sets a journey in motion.
